Courage is an overly frightened dog who lives in Nowhere, Kansas and Molly's pet dog. He was abandoned as a puppy after his parents were sent into outer space, but was adopted by Muriel Bagge. Her husband, Eustace, regularly mistreats him. Molly Harper always listen to Courage whenever there's trouble. Despite his name, Courage is a genuine coward, but he will still go to great lengths to protect his owners.
Name and Traits[]
He got his name when Muriel thought he was brave when she found him, which is definitely not true. Courage speaks English to the viewers and some of the animal characters in the series, but in gibberish to humans, though he has spoken English to humans on occasion. He is able to briefly transform into any person, creature or object, though he normally retains either his pink coloration, his eyes, and/or his ears, commonly using this ability in a usually-futile attempt to warn Molly, Muriel and Eustace of impending danger. He often says," The things I do for love," when he is about to do something brave. He also sometimes quotes," Something fishy is going on, or my name isn`t (insert strange and random name here). And it`s not.", though this was discontinued after the first season.
